When we left Svay Pak on Thursday I had the feeling that I was not ready to come back home just yet. Work had been so intense and my own personal need to deliver made me feel that I was still on high speed mood, that I had strength left over, that I still could do some more.
The unexpected rain we had on Friday gave place to an improvised platform that allowed me to wash out all those strange feelings of unreadiness I still had and between Friday and Saturday I have had the opportunity to cool down little by little and at my own pace. Yet another blessing.
This trip has been an amazing experience that has given me so many blessings I am grateful for. It has helped me to grow even more as a son of God, a christian man and as a human being. I thank God for it. I also thank my team members Mary, Jan, Kit, Graham, George, Chris, Steve, Karol and Grant for their readiness to bond together as a team and make our goals come true. My deepest gratitude goes as well to all the Home Teams, church members, family and friends that prayed for us and with us every step of the way. Thank you!
As we depart from Cambodia tomorrow, I pray for safety and for a smooth re-entry back home.
Yes, now I am ready to go home.
