Mary's Day 1

We set off with much anticipation and excitement this morning. Most of us never having seen such poverty on the way out to Svay Pak. When we arrived at The Sanctuary the contractors were still working inside so we were not able to start painting right away. Thus to plan B and we started scraping the grates on the windows. We had a wonderful lunch at Rahab's House then back to the Sanctuary and the painting began. Only 48 rooms with 3 coats of paint. This building is amazing and I can only imagine the lives that it will impact as it ministers in this very dark community. Can't wait for tomorrow.
