Long, hot days but the week seems to have flown by...each day a mixture of sweaty hard work and blessing. Since the Sanctuary stands much taller than most buildings in Svay Pak, we've often had a lovely breeze to help make the heat bearable. The Team has gelled nicely and developed a good rhythm of working together, getting stronger day by day.
It's been a joy to have some great interaction with the kids at Rahab's House and a blessing to be fed wonderful lunches each day by Pastor Chanta's wife.
Svay Pak is hard to describe...real evil, utter poverty, tin shack homes (often with a satellite dish!) and open garbage heaps, on one hand and a growing sense of certain hope through the ministry of Ratanak and ARC, on the other. It's a privilege to be a small part of the work the Lord is doing in this place.
